Knee On Trac

**Only at our 124 North Brickyard Road Clinic**

What Is Knee On Trac

Knee traction is the process of gently stretching the knee joint at a precise angle. This encourages the joint to increase the volume of fluid in the area, resulting in several positive outcomes. Common outcomes include improvements in flexibility and mobility, as well as a reduction in pain due to the space created within the joint. Symptom relief can be particularly effective for patients who have bone-on-bone contact in their knee joint. For best results, knee traction should be performed consistently  over multiple sessions. The cumulative effect is therapeutic and  can lead to long-lasting change rather than temporary relief.

No More Surgery

Knee problems often require injections at best and surgery at worst to help people deal with the pain. Knee on Trac can provide pain relief without resorting to these more invasive procedures, especially when the cumulative effect of multiple sessions is accounted for. This same principle applies to the possibility of major orthopedic surgery, such as partial or full knee replacements. The risk of these surgeries is high, especially as patients age, and with a lifespan of approximately 20 years, joint replacements are not a guaranteed long-term solution. Knee on Trac excels at extending the life of the knee joint, staving off surgery, and
facilitating pain-free function.

The Primary Benefits

As the only stand-alone knee traction device on the market, Knee on Trac enables you to offer patients the many advantages of traction treatment in the comfort of your practice. This presents a unique opportunity for patients suffering from knee pain to experience relief and healing in a convenient, low-stress environment. The benefits of treating knee problems with traction are numerous and significant. Knee on Trac is an exceptionally effective system, and the value of the benefits patients receive, relative to the time spent with the device, is remarkable. Knee on Trac sessions are gentle and noninvasive. They do not add stress to the situation or overburden the patient with stimulation in a single session.

Achieving Rehabilitation

The list of knee problems that can benefit from sessions with
Knee on Trac is substantial, and the mechanisms of action used
to treat them are equally diverse.

• Simple and complex meniscus tear

• Cartilage repair

• Lateral collateral tear

• Pain management

• Total knee replacement

• Neuromuscular reeducation

• Bakers cyst

• Pain reduction

• Sprain or strain

• Post-surgical rehabilitation

A challenge that often accompanies knee conditions is a limited range of motion, which translates to difficulty with mobility, an inability to participate in certain physical activities, and pain beyond the limited range of motion a patient has. Knee on Trac helps patients achieve higher levels of mobility by providing the immense benefits of traction, alongside the manual therapy and joint mobilization techniques you already use in your practice. Knee on Trac is customizable to each patient’s needs to promote the best outcomes. With five different programmed protocols prioritizing either static or intermittent traction, the personalized nature of Knee on Trac treatment ensures that every patient benefits during the session and is set up for mobility and long-term success.

When treating knee pain with alternative methods, such as surgery or stem cell therapy, the recovery process often involves multiple approaches. Whether healing from surgical repair of an ACL tear or using stem cell injections to repair knee cartilage, traction can be a valuable tool that enhances outcomes and shortens recovery timelines. Knee on Trac can be used alongside other therapeutic modalities for maximum effectiveness.
