When most people think of chiropractic care, they think of neck or back pain. But the upper cervical spine, jaw, and nervous system also play a major role in how the ears function.
In chiropractic care, we assess and adjust the structures that directly influence your ear, especially the upper neck and jaw, where nerve pathways, muscle tension, and drainage structures all connect.
When there is dysfunction in these areas, patients may experience symptoms like ear pressure or fullness, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), dizziness, jaw pain that refers to the ear, or frequent ear infections, especially in children.
Common concerns we see include:
Ear pressure or fullness
Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
Jaw tension or TMJ-related ear pain
Dizziness or balance issues
Recurrent ear infections in children
Many patients find that ear adjustments can reduce these symptoms.
Every case is unique, which is why we always start with a full evaluation to determine whether these areas may be playing a role.
When the body is functioning better as a whole, the nervous system has a better chance to do what it is designed to do: regulate, heal, and adapt.
